Our take
The default upright barrel. Chiller-ready ports mean you can start with ice and add refrigeration later instead of rebuying the whole tub.
Worth knowing before you buy
Ice Barrel states it comfortably fits most body sizes up to 6 ft. The drain spout assembly is sold separately, and shipping to the contiguous US is quoted at $165.
We have not physically tested this unit. Everything above is either a manufacturer-published specification or an observation drawn from comparing those specifications across brands.
