Accuracy of product information

We take unusual care with sourcing — every figure is read from a manufacturer’s own product page and dated. Even so, prices and specifications in this category change frequently, and several prices on this site were captured during promotional pricing that may since have ended.

Always confirm the current price, specification, stock status and warranty terms with the manufacturer before purchasing. We provide a source link on every product page for exactly that purpose, and our methodology page explains our sourcing rules in full.

We are not a testing lab

We have not physically tested the products we cover. Editorial commentary reflects comparison of manufacturer-published specifications, not measured performance. We publish no star ratings or scores because we have not earned the right to.

Health and safety

Cold water immersion carries genuine risks, including cold shock response, hyperventilation, hypothermia, impaired swim ability and cardiac events. These risks are elevated for people with heart conditions, high blood pressure, circulatory disorders, respiratory conditions, epilepsy, diabetes, and for people who are pregnant.

Installation and property

A filled cold plunge can weigh several hundred to over a thousand pounds. Confirm your floor, deck or balcony can carry the load, and confirm electrical requirements, before installing. We cannot assess your specific property and nothing here should be read as confirming that a given location is suitable.
